Job Summary
Office of Admissions. The Document Specialist processes all incoming admission file documentation and assists with application processing for new and returning students.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Opens, sorts, stamps, routes, and delivers all incoming mail.
  • Appropriately images and logs all admission file documents using ApplicationXtender and Banner
  • Assists with applicant file review and data updates
  • Performs data entry of student prospect information into Slate
  • Assists with incoming calls, status check inquiries, and large on-campus recruitment events (i.e., open houses and orientations)
  • Supports other subunits of Admission Operations as needed
  • Manages student change requests including major, campus, term information and cancellations

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
  • One or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Banner student information system

Proposed Salary
$25,500 - $28,350

This is a non-exempt position
