Spanish Instructor

The Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS), a public residential school serving talented students from across the state, seeks a full-time Spanish instructor capable of teaching a full range of Spanish courses ranging from beginning to advanced. The successful candidate will develop and implement a program of instruction that is consistent with state guidelines but is attentive to the needs of academically motivated students in an advanced college prep setting. Courses at ASMS are taught at the college freshman level or higher. Requirements: Master's degree in Spanish or related field, teaching experience, and a team-player mentality. Preferred: Ph.D., ability to teach an additional language or content field.
