college in Dallas, is currently searching for a Senior Director of
Brand Marketing to provide strategic leadership of the University’s
integrated brand marketing with an emphasis on creative, events,
and traditional channels. In this role you will work closely
with the Chief Marketing Officer and members of senior staff to
support a cohesive portfolio of brand efforts that support the
mission and values of Parker University via cohesive campaigns,
cutting-edge creative, and effective advertising.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to
the following:
Accountable for multiple sectors of the Marketing department,
such as Creative and Events, including but not limited to team org
structure, performance reviews, goal setting, and all appropriate
project and task timelines.
Develop and implement a multiple-brand-wide marketing action
plan including priorities, budget forecasts, tactics, timelines and
measurements that support the user life cycles--from recruiting to
post-graduate services, to seminar attendee customer support, to
attracting patients to Parker clinics.
Oversee the Marketing Creative task loads and budgets to ensure
efficient and strategic utilization.
Manage all aspects of grassroots, local, and broad event
activations and involvement.
Drive innovation in our advertising/marketing efforts that
keeps Parker ahead of similar competition with a focus on
continuous improvement.
Contribute to brand development with a highly educated approach
around channel effectiveness, market understanding, and
research-derived/data-driven decisioning.
Collaborate with senior members across the organization to
build and own the marketing plan, working closely with the Sr.
Director of Mktg Technology, and ensuring we meet larger business
strategies.
Maintain a strong understanding of brand awareness, analytics
that drive the business goals, and the effectiveness of different
brand activations (i.e. events, sponsorships, media usage, and
more).
Show a continuous, proven track record of inheriting and
improving existing brands and implementing fresh new
strategies.
Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills to
promptly navigate obstacles, resolve issues, and effectively
advocate for your team.
Provide oversight to employees in staff management,
development, and evaluation.
Serve on University committees as assigned.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends with some
travel required.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Chief Marketing
Officer.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
EDUCATION/EXPERTISE: Ten (10) or more
years marketing and management experience. Minimum five years
higher education, healthcare, or events experience. Advanced degree
highly preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC.: Excellent
written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of
managing and executing large number of projects consecutively or in
parallel, involving many stakeholders and agencies, and defined
KPIs. Deep understanding of the latest marketing tools and channel
efficacy. Strong organizational and project management skills
(Agile-preferred). Proven leadership skills. Strong consensus
builder and collaborative manager; team player. Able and willing to
travel to different events (10%).
