The ICA at VCU is recruiting a pool of applicants to assist with video production needs across departments, working closely with curatorial, communications, and community media teams. We are looking for experienced all-in-one videographers and editors to bring their production and post-production skills to the ICA. Successful candidates must have experience shooting and editing high-quality video content: operating DSLRs and camcorders, lighting, recording audio, syncing and assembling footage, revising cuts in response to feedback, and delivering final edits on a tight schedule. Candidates preferably should have experience shooting and editing interviews, documentaries, and live performance documentation, both in a studio and on location.

This is a project-based position, with hours depending on project needs and timetables.

Qualifications:
3+ years experience creating creative and engaging video content, with examples
Experience shooting and editing high-quality videos for the arts and culture sector
Experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Suite
Experience with audio mixing and color correction
Experience with YouTube, Instagram, and creating platform-specific social content
Familiarity with media management best practices
Excellent communication skills

Must have a commitment to working in and cultivation a diverse work environment.
