Department Summary
The University of Oregon Office of Admissions is a part of the Division of Student Services & Enrollment Management and includes more than 50 staff who are all engaged in the work of recruitment and outreach to prospective undergraduates, and making thoughtful decisions on all applicants for freshman, transfer, and post-baccalaureate undergraduate admission.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day processing of documents in support of recruitment and admission activities, especially for incoming freshmen and transfer students (both domestic and international). The person selected for this position will oversee the evaluation of applications, ensure timely responses to prospective applicants, and assist in the overall management of processing. This position works closely with the assistant director responsible for systems, working together under the direction of the associate director and director, to provide overall leadership in the area of admissions operations.
This position works as part of the admissions office management team, to support, direct, and guide admissions operations and staff. Other members of the team include the director, associate director, associate directors of recruitment, the assistant director who manages Banner processes, and the assistant director charged with the supervision of reception functions. The team works to integrate and coordinate the essential functions of recruiting and processing, both in the office and with other enrollment service functions.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in Education
Administration, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, or related
field.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with application evaluation or
processing.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience evaluating or processing International applications
and documents.
