Florida International University, in Miami, Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Department of Philosophy, School of Integrated Science and Humanities. Duties and responsibilities include: teaching a variety of Philosophy–related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels; providing regular office hours for student consulting and advising; pursuing scholarly research relating to the Philosophy of Law and Philosophy of International Law or related areas of expertise; publishing research findings in major peer–reviewed professional journals and/or presenting them at conferences, seminars, or other similar venues; participating in Department– and University–wide events or projects; and serving on various academic or administrative committees.

Position requires a Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field.
