The Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Musculoskeletal Science at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for an established investigator with expertise in bone biology that compliments the interests of our existing basic science faculty.
Qualifications :
Candidates must have a Ph.D., as well as, at least 10 years’ experience as a tenured or tenure-track faculty member and an excellent record of federal funding, publication, and collaboration. Ideal candidates are expected to be currently funded by the NIH with two or more active awards. A faculty affiliation with the Veterans Association is also highly valued. Potential for development of program project grant awards is necessary. Expected rank for this position will be Associate Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
