Job Summary

Drexel University Kline School of Law, in Philadelphia, seeks to hire two Visiting Assistant Professor for positions commencing in the fall of 2022 and ending at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 academic year. This is a two-year, non-tenure track position.

Essential Functions

The School seeks to hire Visiting Assistant Professors in two areas:

  1. Federal Income Tax and Enterprise Tax: The successful candidate must be able to teach both courses in the 2022-2023 and 2023- 2024 academic years, one per semester.
  2. Torts and a course at the intersection of law & technology: The successful candidate must be able to teach Torts in the fall semester and a Law & Technology course in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years.


Required Qualifications

JD, LLB or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must have a demonstrated record of, or commitment to, scholarly achievement and excellence. Because the School is part of a major research university, faculty are expected to engage in scholarship at the highest level. The School particularly seeks candidates with educational, methodological, or practice backgrounds that add vitality to their research.
