Job Description:
The part-time Adjunct Instructor in Finite Element Analysis will be responsible for teaching one or two sections of the ME450 (Finite Element Analysis) course for the Summer 2022 semester (Special Session). This course serves as mechanical engineering students' introduction to finite element methods. The course touches on some theoretical background ad focuses on use of finite element simulation software. SolidWorks and Ansys software may be used as part of the course. The Special Summer Session begins on May 16, 2022 and ends on August 16, 2022.
Requirements:
The candidate should have a Master's degree in engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will also have teaching and/or industry experience. Experience with industrial applications of finite element software is also preferred.
