Job Summary:

We seek a talented marketer who will support the campus-wide marketing automation service and welcome a diverse pool of existing campus marketers and communicators into this new platform. This position will be trained and supported by external partners who bring deep Eloqua expertise. You will also join a larger network of campus colleagues engaged in the governance of the CRM and marketing automation services. We will invest in the education and the time necessary to allow you to become an expert in this role.

Bachelor's Degree
Preferably in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.


A successful candidate must have:
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, and/or digital engagement; with a preference towards experience in digital marketing.
- Background in preparing multi-step campaigns including emails, websites, direct mail, social media, onsite experiences, and other promotional tactics.
- Experience eliciting internal customer feedback and requirements.
- Experience eliciting internal client requirements and determining the fit to current system capabilities.
- Excellent written and in-person communication skills, and working with in person and remote teams.
- Highly organized with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a project-oriented, diverse team environment.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills.
- Experience creating training programs and executing onboarding and training sessions.

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in day-to-day operations of marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and email campaign tools with responsibilities such as administrator, marketing specialist, trainer, or consultant.
- Familiar with writing and editing HTML and CSS code for professional web and/or email designs.
- Experience in both WordPress and Gravity Forms.
- Experience in a higher education setting.
- Prior experience documenting business processes.
- Familiarity with NPS (Net Promoter Score) and understand how to impact it in a positive way.

The candidate selected for this position will initially perform a combination of on-site and remote work subject to an approved remote work agreement (RWA) agreement, which is reviewed and approved annually. In the future, this position will likely perform a combination of onsite and remote work. Remote work requires successful candidates to possess their own high-speed internet and phone to perform the work on a University provided computer.
