Job Summary:

The All of Us Research Program (AoU) is a major initiative of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The program is working to engage at least one million volunteers living in the U.S. to contribute their health data over many years to improve health outcomes, fuel the development of new treatments for disease, and catalyze a new era of evidence-based and more precise preventive care and medical treatment. The All of Us Wisconsin (AoU) Research Coordinator Team Lead will join a join a team of professionals located at UW-Madison, one of four Wisconsin institutions for the All of Us program. Our UW-Madison team is made up of two sites: one in Madison and one in Milwaukee. This position will be based out of our Madison office but will need to travel on occasion to Milwaukee, as well as other enrollment locations, and staff a mobile research team operating out of diverse clinical and non-clinical settings to assist individuals with program enrollment. The All of Us Research Coordinator Team Lead will aid the Research Program Manager in identifying resource needs and developing clinical research documents, such as job aids, tools, processes, procedures, and training. Enrollment activities include but are not limited to assisting participants with the informed consent process, taking physical measurements and vital signs, and collecting, processing and shipping biospecimen.

Qualifications:

Minimum required experience:
-Minimum two years experience working in clinical research
-Have a basic understanding of human subject research programming in both a community and institution setting, usually obtained by past working experience in human subjects research
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be an active listener. Active listening is the ability to focus on a speaker, understand their message, comprehend the information and respond thoughtfully
-Must be able to work well independently as well as on a team
-The successful candidate will be detailed oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, problem- solving and organizational skills
-Personal vehicle accessibility and/or eligibility to use the Enterprise Fleet Management System (must have a valid driver's license, must have minimum of two years licensed driving experience, and must be eighteen (18) years of age)
-The successful candidate will be willing to travel to/from AoU program sites for recruitment enrollment activities occurring throughout South Central and South Eastern Wisconsin; occasional evening and weekend hours will be required

Preferred Experience:
-Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and cloud-based File Sharing services (Box, Google Drive)
-Experience working successfully in a fast paced, high volume clinical research setting
-Phlebotomy certification or one year of phlebotomy experience
-Experience working with underrepresented populations and communities
-Past leadership experience
-Spanish language proficiency
-Past experience working with granting agencies
