Job Summary:

Under the direction of Department leadership, the incumbent will assist faculty and staff with a wide range of pre and post award activities, for federally and non-federally funded programs, including sub-awards, subcontracts and clinical studies, as assigned. Responsibilities are driven as priorities arise.

Education:

Required
Associate's Degree
Accounting or closely related field such as business or finance

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Accounting or closely related field such as business or finance preferred

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
- Prior experience working in a research admin related position, exposure to finance, accounting or general administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in academic medical setting.
- Knowledge of pre and post award, grant management or finance.
- Familiar with WISER, WISPER, Cayuse, ECRT, ADW.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret state statutes, federal regulations, administrative rules, and university, college, and department policies.
- Knowledge of EndNote; manuscript preparation, formatting, submission, and compliance; literature searches.
- Experience with data use, material transfer and other types of legal contracts.
