Sr. Director, Advancement Services

JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Director leads the
overall direction of the Advancement Services team in data
services, gift services, and advancement technology to support
division-wide goals, infrastructure, and shared services. As a
member of the Advancement Operations team, the Senior Director
supports collaborative efforts to plan, design, build, and
continuously improve the College’s advancement systems,
technology, and processes required to conduct successful overall
advancement operations. More specifically, the Senior Director
leads Advancement Services staff, manages Advancement division
systems, and provides administrative oversight for constituent data
and gift record services for various Advancement stakeholders. This
position builds high-performing teams who create user-friendly and
scalable data and technology-based solutions to enhance the
College’s Advancement strategic operations with a focus on impact,
efficiency, and service excellence.
Education/Licenses/Certificates: Bachelor’s degree or
combination of education and experience in the areas of business,
marketing, statistics, or computer science is required.
Master’s degree in the areas of business, marketing, statistics, or
computer science is strongly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable
leadership and team-building experience with increasing
responsibility in the areas of advancement services and database
management using Raiser’s Edge, Cognos reporting tools, and SQL
server administration at a major academic or nonprofit institution
and service on a management team is strongly preferred
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this
full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Weekend and evening work may be required. Regular hours may vary
due to needs of the College or division.
