POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, the Coordinator, Alumni and Family Engagement assists with the successful development, implementation, and management of an annual calendar of events and opportunities for Pomona College alumni, parents, families, and students that deepen the College’s relationship with these important constituencies. The Coordinator is responsible for conveying the vision that is developed in partnership with the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, the Vice President for Advancement, the Alumni Association Board and Family Leadership Council. This position will create key partnerships and design and plan essential programs and events in the College community with the goal to increase overall participation and financial support from alumni, parents and friends of Pomona College in preparation for the most aspirational, comprehensive capital campaign in the history of the College. 

The Coordinator, Alumni and Family Engagement is a key member of the Alumni and Family Engagement team to build a best-in-class alumni and parent/family engagement program at one of the national’s leading liberal arts colleges.  This work is accomplished in collaboration and in partnership with other relationship builders through the College, with the Advancement Division, including Advancement services; Major Gifts, Leadership and Reunion Giving; Advancement Services; Advancement Communications and Events and Annual Giving; as well as other colleagues across the College (such as the Career Development Office, Admissions, and Student Life).
