This position will report directly to the Dean of the College of Business

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Successful candidate will teach undergraduate and be capable to teach graduate courses in finance. (S)he is expected to conduct scholarly research and serve the university and college community. Faculty members are expected to fulfill specific assignments and activities as specified by the University and College administrators.

Teaching, research, and community service should be inspired by the spirit of the University and College’s missions, which promise excellence in the different aspects of students’ educational experience and require ethical decision making.

• possess the knowledge and skills to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.

• have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and scholarly research.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the faculty member are to:

• teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.
• perform original research, with emphasis on research that serves the domestic and regional communities.
• serve the university community by actively participating in the different committees
• provide proper academic advising to students, with one goal in mind, which is helping them in their academic progress

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in finance from a reputable university. They must demonstrate a proven record of excellent research in highly ranked academic journals.
