Position Description
This position has executive responsibilities for the short and long-term planning, administration, and management of all fiscal affairs of a campus. The responsibilities include vivarium services, budgeting, and fiscal administrative policy and procedures. It also includes acting as liaison for coordination necessary for maintaining corporate functions with the assigned campus; the affiliated teaching hospitals, and the various funding agencies providing extramural support. This position plans, organizes, directs, monitors and evaluates in. accordance with the appropriate practice plan by-laws the administrative and business affairs of the school's faculty professional practice group.

Major/Essential Functions
Conducts financial and budgetary planning and the management of financial projects instituted by the Regional Center. Establishes and maintains affiliation contract agreements with clinical resources utilized in the region to include the school's affiliated teaching hospitals. Develops and monitors contracts for faculty service fee reimbursements, residency salary reimbursements and consultant services. Provides administrative support for medical and other professional activities. Assures all procedural policies are followed in the daily administration of the assigned school. Implements policy and procedural changes in order to facilitate institutional functions within the campus Travels to Regional Campuses to serve in various consultant and committee assignments. Manages the Campus Ambulatory Care and financial function and the personnel involved in their administration Manages those employees involved in the dissemination of public information, continuing education, and the clerical support staff of the Office of the Dean or Regional Dean. May manage those employees involved in the functions necessary for vivarium services and research. Performs other related duties as required

Required Qualifications
Earned Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related area. Twelve years of progressively responsible administrative management experience. Individual must have complete command of the business and financial operations in a College and University environment including accounting, budget, and administration aspect of grant and contracts. Additionally, this position calls for an individual with demonstrated ability to manage the financial resources of the assigned school. The individual must have experience in the specifics of fiscal operations in a health care or educational environment. The individual should possess the ability to coordinate and facilitate the operation of a community-based medical facility. The individual should possess the ability to organize and direct a staff of professional administrative personnel. This individual must possess the ability to make long-range plans and policy decisions relative to the financial and physical growth of the assigned campus.
