Job Summary: Administer and oversee the collegewide budgeting, payroll, financial planning, state reporting, student accounts/refunding and cashiering systems and functions, as well as have strategic oversight of collegewide business operations to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree and 5 years experience, including 3 years of supervisory/management experience or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements: Valid drivers license required.

Hiring Range: $97,242-$121,553

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant - Preferred

Job Specific Task List:
  • Responsible for providing leadership and setting policy and procedures for the College's student accounts, cashiering, payroll, financial accounting, fixed assets, grant management (federal, state and local), budget, financial planning, state reporting systems, and business operations; set operational strategy for functional collegewide departments; support functional leaders by providing business guidance and budgeting advice in respect to schools and departments. - (Essential)
  • Support administration in researching and implementing new directives for long-term business planning and growth; provide financial and quantitative information which can be used to facilitate the process of finding solutions that optimize the value and viability of the College; provide analytical and operational perspective based on a solid understanding of the College's overall financial status at all times; develop new initiatives as well as enhance existing programs and coordinates and recommend process improvements. - (Essential)
  • Provide long-term financial planning and annual forecasting with emphasis on researching program development and capital needs; assist the CFO in managing, monitoring and making necessary adjustments to business operations in support of enterprise risk management and key performance indicators (KPIs). - (Essential)
  • Oversee all financial record audits (internal and external) by federal, state, and local agencies and by the College's independent CPA firm; mitigate deficiencies identified in audits; oversee annual Internal Revenue Service Form 1098T Tuition Statement reporting, 1099 Miscellaneous income reporting, W-2 Wage Statement reporting, and the Federal loan financial aid and disbursement/refund program and process; approve collegewide financial accounting reconciliations, accounting transactions, internal and external wire transfers; present external and internal audits to the finance office, external constituents and the board; maintain collegewide banking relationships; manage collegewide cash management and investing; select financial instruments for investment; manage collegewide operating, capital and personnel budgets. - (Essential)
  • Lead a highly effective team of leaders that achieve operational and financial excellence; prioritize and assign work; conduct performance evaluations; ensure staff are trained and follow policies and procedures. - (Essential)
