Job Description:
The Senior Database Administrator handles the lifecycle of enterprise database and business intelligence (BI) solutions on the Microsoft SQL server in a dynamic multi server environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the Lifecycle of the SQL Server platform
•Optimizes the performance and capacity of the database
development, test and production environments
•Implements, monitors and improves system security
configurations
•Responsible for the recovery and business continuously solutions
for the all database infrastructure
•Collaborates with other IT team members and college departments to
develop database, data warehouse and BI solutions
Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in
implementing MS SQL server solutions
•Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of server-based
database, applications, data warehousing and business intelligence
solutions
•Extensive knowledge and expertise with MS SQL Server in a dynamic
multi server environment
•Extensive knowledge and expertise with database technologies,
languages (such as .Net, SQL, XML) and applications
•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server data warehousing and business
intelligence solutions (Analysis Services, Integration Services and
Reporting Services)
