Position Summary:
As a member of Office of e-Campus Learning's Instructional Development Center (IDC), the incumbent will provide instructional design expertise for the delivery of online academic programs, specialized educational programs, faculty training and academic courses delivered via distance education and through e-learning strategies.



Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology. Master’s degree in Education, Communications or related field preferred

Minimum Experience:
· Three years of experience required in course or curriculum design preferably in higher education.· High degree of experience and expertise in learning management systems such as Blackboard.· Proficiencies in multimedia authoring software, Adobe products, Windows Microsoft Office required.· Proficiencies in using Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office required· Understanding of web accessibility issues and W3C standards· Experience in Universal Design Learning principles and practices highly desirable. Knowledge of ADA compliance and web accessibility concepts strongly desired. Familiarity with various assistive learning technologies such as JAWS, Kurzweil, closed-captioning and cognitive assistive technologies preferable.

Develops advanced and cost-effective instructional methodologies through the use of e-learning technologies; provides training to faculty.
Develop faculty development courses and programs
Delivery of faculty development courses and programs
Develops courses using course management system
Develops Web-based training (WBT), computer-assisted and online learning tools
Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned
