Job Summary
This position will coordinate, oversee, and perform a wide variety of administrative and program support activities on behalf of an academic unit or department; and will serve as the primary point of operational and administrative contact between varying departments, vendors, and external constituents. This position will spend the majority of time organizing the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and/or events in the day-to-day management of the unit; and will coordinate the provision of office and staff support services by setting goals and deadlines for the entire unit.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Support promotional and marketing activities of the Instructional Support and Resources Center
  • Facilitate instruction and support for ATLAS teaching videos with faculty, staff, and students
  • Facilitate instruction and scheduling of the simulation lab programming with faculty, staff, and students
  • Facilitate instruction, scheduling, and support for COE courses taught via site synchronous delivery
  • Ensure equitable digital access to connectivity, digital devices, information, resources, programming, and services in support of the College's strategic vision
  • Provide customer service to all patrons of the Instructional Support and Resources Center
  • Provide administrative support of the Instructional Support and Resources Center, including the development, maintenance, and promotion of resources, and goal setting aligned with those of the College and University
  • Correspond with requests for lab scheduling and maintains lab calendars on a weekly basis
  • Assist patrons with software, computer equipment, scanners, photocopiers, audiovisual and other library books and equipment
  • Instruct patrons in hardware and AV equipment use and maintenance
  • Maintain media collections, including entering/updating collection, follow up and reporting overdue items
  • Help organize and facilitate professional development to College of Education students, faculty, staff, partner schools, and community stakeholders in the applications of pedagogy and emerging educational technologies (ex. EdCampGSU, Summer Institute, etc.)
  • Work to enhance services and collections, develop effective policies and streamline work practices, with the approval of the Director

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$17.55 - $17.84 per hour
