Postdoctoral Fellow



A postdoctoral or research associate position is available to study targeted therapy in cancer. Our goal is to investigate the mechanisms for development of chemoresistance and find new therapies for the treatment of relapse and chemotherapy resistant prostate cancer and head & neck cancer. The efficacy of the combination treatment will be tested in relevant preclinical models in vitro and in animal including xenograft and PDX. Interested candidates must possess a Ph.D. along with relevant experience in cancer biology or a related field. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in signal transduction and drug resistance. Candidates are expected to have extensive hands-on experience in cell culture (2D and 3D), cellular proliferation assay and determination of IC50 and combination index values (CI), protein expression and purification, protein-interaction studies, Western blotting, real-time PCR, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry.

Qualifications :

PhD required. Experience with handling mice is desired, but not required.
