Job Summary:

InterPro is hiring an Instructional Technologist to join our growing team, to support credit, non-credit professional development, and peer-to-peer learning programs within the College of Engineering at UW-Madison. The Office of Interdisciplinary Professional Programs (InterPro) offers a portfolio of programs and services focused on the needs of industry leaders and technical experts, to guide them into the future while advancing the Wisconsin Idea.

The Instructional Technologist role collaborates with instructors, programs, units, and campus partners to explore, evaluate, recommend, train, and support learning technologies that enhance instruction and foster learner success. This position will have considerable autonomy and will require effective decision-making and critical thinking to complete tasks and projects.

Successful candidates have strong technical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and to learn quickly and continuously, adapting to new situations and emerging technologies. They can also manage simultaneous projects, strive for continuous improvement, and work with diverse groups across multiple disciplines to foster collaborative relationships.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

2 years experience with the administration, application, and interoperability of current learning technologies, as well as accessibility standards, user experience, best practices for online teaching and engagement, and instructional design methodologies is required.

Experience with Mac, Windows, cloud-based, and mobile platforms desired.
