Position Summary:

This position will join threeother faculty in providing Interventional Pulmonary services at UW Health approved locations including UW Hospital and Clinics. This position involves teaching of IP, pulmonary, and thoracic surgery fellows, and medical residents. The incumbent will be expected to be key clinical faculty for the UW IP Fellowship program. As a member of the Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Division, they will participate in additional pulmonary and critical care services, and support the teaching and research missions of the University.

Principal Duties:

This position will provide Interventional Pulmonary services at UW Hospital and Clinics and other approved UW Health locations. The incumbent will also participate in inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary clinical services staffed by the Division, and Critical Care services if interested. Teaching responsibilities include clinical teaching of residents and fellows.

Those appointed to the CHS title track will have opportunities to participate in additional opportunities for medical education (including didactic teaching for medical student), research and scholarship.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO; Board certified or prepared in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Have completed training in Interventional Pulmonology and have passed or are eligible to take the Interventional Pulmonology board certification exam.

License or Certificate:

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
