Saint Francis University invites applications from qualified candidates for a full time, tenure track position to teach in the University’s newly revised Franciscan Studies, Theology, and Applied Ethics Department. Full-time faculty responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Franciscan Studies and Theology in the Roman Catholic Tradition and in faithfulness to Magisterial teachings. Preference will be given to candidates also capable of teaching Applied Ethics courses. Position starts August 2022.

The qualified candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Theology from an accredited institution with at least three (or five) years of in-person and online teaching experience. Areas of emphasis can include Historical and Systematic Theology, Biblical Studies, Sacramental Theology, Moral Theology, Catholic Social Teaching, or Franciscan Studies. We will also consider well-qualified candidates who are in the process of completing their dissertation and who demonstrate both teaching excellence and mission fit with Saint Francis University. Faculty rank contingent upon qualifications and teaching experience.
