Job Description:

Daily program operations (design, implementation, assessment, administration, occasionally grading assignments related to programming efforts) for all current and future professional development programs in the office.

Support and maintain marketing efforts of the office, including content creation and communication across multiple platforms (newsletter, website, email, social media). Marketing and communication will be between OGPD and students, faculty, and staff.

Design and implementation on new efforts, and/or improvement of current programming based on published and unpublished best practices for the field, benchmarking against peer institutions, and assessment needs.

Create, update, and maintain data and reports on programming efforts, reach, and engagement.

Provide advising to graduate students based on professional development and career needs and aspirations.

Build relationships and maintain outreach efforts with on campus and off campus stakeholders. Examples include identifying, reaching out to, and maintaining positive relationships with potential offices, departments, faculty, staff, student groups or other units to collaborate in professional development programming.

Coordinate, lead, and participate in meetings, seminars, workshops connected to professional development.

Expected Salary:

$45,000/annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree, familiarity and experience with doctoral training, experience with student affairs.
