Drury University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Breech School of Business Administration. The Breech School of Business Administration develops ethical leaders who thrive in diverse and dynamic business environments. As the world changes, so does the environment of business. All the more often, the field of business is merged with others, such as technology, design, and science, and Drury's students are uniquely prepared for interdisciplinary careers. This new landscape provides an exciting opportunity for students to combine their passions into fulfilling careers. The Breech School offers the following majors: Accounting, Cyber-risk Management, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing, as well as a Master of Business Administration. The Breech School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Through the years, the Breech School has continued to maintain its foundation in the liberal arts, while strengthening its commitment to excellence in business education. The strength of the Breech School has always been the dedication of faculty and staff to student education. In August 2022, the Breech School will move into the C.H. "Chub" O'Reilly Enterprise Center. The O'Reilly Enterprise Center will contain high-tech collaborative spaces and labs along with a trading floor and will serve as a lynchpin for Drury's unique interdisciplinary curriculum.

Reporting to the university Provost, the Dean of the Breech School has administrative responsibility for the school's faculty, staff, students, and programs. The Dean provides innovative vision and leadership for the Breech School.

The next Dean will need the following minimum qualifications:
• A terminal degree in economics, business or business-related field.
• Desire to lead and teach in a liberal arts and sciences university.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and teaching experience to earn appointment at the associate professor or professor level.
• Experience in budgetary management.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students.
• Commitment to develop programs that demonstrate the value of business thinking to students and majors beyond the Breech School.
