The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

Within the Classroom to Career Hub, the CSM Business System Analyst is responsible for managing the Career Services Management( CSM ) tool, Career Link, a Symplicity database. As a core component of the Classroom to Career Hub, Career Link captures student and employer engagement touch points to ensure career development programs across campus are captured and reported accurately. The CSM Business System Analyst also participates in projects related to the promotion and development of the Classroom to Career Hub. The CSM Business System Analyst ensures use to Career Link’s full optimization by stewarding campus and community partnerships across the university, alumni, and industry.

IND208 Duties/Responsibilities
CSM Business Systems Management & Reporting (50%)

Ongoing project management of Career Link database system ensuring successful client experience.
Benchmark Career Link system capabilities relative to other higher education career data base systems
Manage ongoing requests for changes and updates to the database system.
Work on ways to capture and track activities related to the 100% student engagement goal.
Develop and maintain a dashboard with key reporting metrics and outcomes from
Ensure regular communication and reporting between
university systems including Raiser’s Edge, Banner, Symplicity, and Student Success Collaborative.

Pull data for the annual report and other requests as needed.

Training & Development & Assessment (20%)
Create training materials and workshops for C2 Hub staff and campus partners to ensure database is used to its full optimization.
Train and supervise student staff who will assist in the data entry of the above functions.
Manage the day-to-day database activities of approving employers and students, posting positions, and managing internship approval work flows in the Career Link database.
Manage regular clean-up of data in Career Link.

University Partnerships and Client Services (30%)
Provide client services and support to ensure smooth user experience

Supports the C2 Hub’s Industry Team to capture cross-campus partnerships related to career development programs and career outcomes.

Work with Director of Faculty Engagement and departments across campus to help them integrate their program tracking into Career Link.
Work with University Advancement to ensure information related to corporate and foundation relations is accurate and delivered in a timely fashion. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business or degree related to this job description.
  • Previous experience managing third party data bases
  • Experience in design and development of reports on various platforms
  • Experience serving customers or clients

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or oversight of the development of training materials or workshops
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills, which includes good written and oral communication
  • 3+ years of functional experience managing 3rd party software and the associated customer base
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Experience managing a database conversion process
  • Supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with Tableau, Google Analytics
