Position Summary
Scheduler - Temporary
Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment
Temporary part time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for the various professionals at the center
• Coordinate with billing agent and office staff to address needs for both clients and professional staff regarding appointment times and billing
• Prepare paper charting and upload to electronic medical records system
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other professionals
• Maintain professionalism with all staff members, clients, families, caregivers, and community organizations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active with or without accommodations
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
• Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
