Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for On-Call University Nurses.

The candidate would be expected to: administer preventive immunizations in accordance with written orders and protocols; conduct appropriate triage and assessment for an immunization clinic; monitor immunized persons for possible adverse reactions.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Required Years of Experience: 1

Other Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current NJ licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or license-eligible.

Clinical experience with administering medications including intramuscular injections. Ability to recognize a potential emergency medical situation and follow written protocols to implement measures to address the emergency situation. Ability to navigate an immunization software system to document immunizations.


Preferred Qualifications:
Current CPR for Healthcare Provider certification.
