Job Summary:

The successful applicant will be expected to provide neuropathology clinical expertise in surgical as well as autopsy pathology. Active contributions to the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students are expected. Responsibilities also include trainee mentoring and participation in continuing medical education programs. The individual will also be expected to participate in the NIA-funded Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) which provides numerous opportunities for collaboration. The University of Wisconsin Hospital is a tertiary care center with state-of-the-art neuro-imaging, neurology and neurological surgery programs as well as comprehensive programs in cancer, transplantation, Alzheimer's disease and trauma.

Successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the mission of the department via active participation in the research and teaching programs, training of residents, fellows, and medical students, mentoring of trainees and participation in continuing medical education programs.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Education:

Required
Terminal Degree
MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Qualifications:

-Board certified in AP or AP/CP as well as neuropathology board eligible.
-Neuropathology clinical expertise in surgical pathology as well as autopsy pathology.
