Faculty Fellow Position
Department of Classics
New York University Arts and Science
The Department of Classics at New York University invites
applications for a one-year position as Faculty Fellow in Roman
History, beginning September 1, 2022, subject to pending budgetary
and administrative approval.
Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. no earlier than five years
before the date of appointment and have a strong commitment to
teaching. The teaching load is 1-2: the courses to be taught
will include a large introductory-level lecture course on the
history of Rome from the death of Caesar to late antiquity. For
