Clinical Assistant Professor
Department of Computer Science
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Computer Science faculty position in the Department of Computer Science beginning August 2022.
Responsibilities Include:
- The primary responsibilities for the position include teaching, service work, and some research.
- Teaching expectations include teaching 4 courses per term (fall/spring) in Computer Science at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Other responsibilities may include the following:
- Program/course development expectations
- Dissertation/thesis supervision
- Working with a diverse community
An earned Doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Evidence of some scholarship/creative activities
- Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
- Experience teaching in high-performance big data analytics, data visualization, and machine learning.
