Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Computer Science faculty position in the Department of Computer Science beginning August 2022.  

Responsibilities Include:

• The primary responsibilities for the position include teaching, service work, and some research.
• Teaching expectations include teaching 4 courses per term (fall/spring) in Computer Science at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Other responsibilities may include the following:

• Program/course development expectations
• Dissertation/thesis supervision
• Working with a diverse community

An earned Doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Evidence of some scholarship/creative activities
• Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
• Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
• Experience teaching in high-performance big data analytics, data visualization, and machine learning.
