Job Summary
Provides administrative support for assigned instructional support projects offered at Tarrant County College Campuses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists faculty in design and development of instructional materials and products for technology-based redesign of courses
• Assists and trains faculty in the development, integration and implementation of broad array of instructional technologies, such as audio/visual demonstrations, web-based projects, illustrated lecture material, audio/visual interactive study and review materials, test and assessment activity development, etc
• Assists faculty in adapting instructional content or delivery methods for different levels or types of learners
• Assists faculty in developing meaningful assessment activities and tools to evaluate student learning outcomes
• Recommends changes to curricula or delivery methods based on information such as instructional effectiveness data, current or future performance requirements, feasibility, and costs
• Observes and provides feedback to faculty on instructional techniques, presentation methods, or instructional aids
• Assists in planning and implementation of faculty professional development activities; serves on campus Professional Development Committee and other relevant instructional development and support teams
• Assists Deans/Department Chairs in communicating and providing adjunct faculty orientation sessions and other support/training services
• Assists Deans/Department Chairs in recruitment, coordination, training and certification of peer tutors
• Administers the Campus Student Satisfaction Survey process
• Conducts research, analysis and report preparation
• Assists instructional leaders and campus administrators in accessing/analyzing data reports and creating relevant action plans in response to that data
• Researches and evaluates emerging instructional technologies or methods and make recommendations for leading-edge implementation for engaging learners
• Assists administration in optimizing class scheduling and classroom utilization
• Assist faculty in grant development
• Monitors and provides follow-up to faculty completion and posting of Instructor’s Class Requirements ( ICR ) and Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College ( TCC )
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
• Master’s degree (or higher) in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development, or a closely-related field

• Experience with Canvas
• Experience teaching/training at the collegiate level
• Experience working with Institutional Effectiveness and Instructional Assessment Efforts
• Familiarity with classroom instructional technology
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
• Experience with computerized systems
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to include public presentation
• Knowledge of various technologies used in distance learning
• Research ability to access/analyze data reports and to organize and create data-driven action plans
