Job Summary: SUNY Brockport, State University of New York is accepting applications for a Job Placement Coordinator at our REOC location. This position will collaborate with all professional departments within the REOC in developing strategic plans and reporting mechanisms that deliver comprehensive results while demonstrating exceptional customer service. This position will have direct supervision of the Career Planning & Development Associate and will be responsible for facilitating student career placement activities, vocational workshops, employer partnerships, and community engagement activities that drive the mission and vision of the REOC. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Advising or a
related field by time of appointment, from a college or university
accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
internationally recognized college or university.
- Minimum of two years' experience mentoring, coaching, and
advising students.
- Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, and presentation
skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple task in a fast-paced, adult
student-centric environment.
- Ability to work effectively with students, public, college
community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for
cultural and group differences.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in education, advisement, or a related
field.
- Knowledge and experience with Banner, Blackboard, or related
systems.
- Teaching and/or advising in a remote or hybrid
environment.
Work Schedule: M - F, 8 -4pm; some evenings as needed Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $50,148. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport.
