Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Outreach oversees career readiness, employer relations, and marketing initiatives of the department.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, or a field related to Student Affairs or Human Resource Management required

Minimum Experience:
Three years of experience in career services, recruiting, human resources, higher education, or other related fields required

Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Job Functions:
Establish and cultivate relationships with target employers and organizations to enhance student/alumni employment opportunities.
Manages the outreach initiatives of the Office of Academic & Career Services by developing marketing strategies and materials, coordinating job fairs and other employer related events, and supervise the Job Location and Development Coordinator.
Oversee and conduct resume critiques, mock interviewing, and other in-class and out-of-class career readiness services in conjunction with student Peer Career Mentors.
Collaborate with University Advancement to develop sponsorship programs and fundraising efforts for the Office of Academic & Career Services.
Supports the success of the office functions by completing all other duties as assigned.
