West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Community Practice seeks an Occupational Medicine physician or a combination Occupational Medicine and Primary Care Physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Parkersburg, WV for our Mid-Ohio Valley Medical Group clinic.

The Department of Community Practice is not an ordinary primary care or occupational medicine setting. With WVU Medicine you can take advantage of:

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of occupational medicine and primary care if they so chose. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The physician will serve as the Medical Review Officer of the Occupational Medicine service.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed an occupational medicine, family medicine or internal medicine residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified or eligible. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Physician must be willing to obtain certification as Medical Review Officer.
