Job Summary:
The position is tasked with interpreting course equivalencies for incoming transfer students.
This position requires understanding partner transfer credit and academic policies, curriculum, program requirements, and technologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process and evaluate incoming college transcripts and other forms of college credit · Research and review course descriptions to determine transfer of credit eligibility · Verify the accuracy of evaluated transcripts based on university transfer credit policy · Accurately enter transfer credit and equivalencies into the student information system · Communicate, collaborate, and maintain relationships with internal and external constituents · Prepare reports on transfer credit evaluation activity · Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials · Comply with all published university rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations relating to FERPA and confidentiality of information · Perform other duties as assigned · Completing assigned tasks with minimal supervisor
Key Competencies:
· Understanding of institutional transfer credit and academic policies, curriculum, program requirements, and technologies · Ability to navigate or toggle many screens and maintain chat conversations simultaneously
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution · 1 to 2 years of related professional experience in higher education at the student services level · Experience with CollegeSource’s Transfer Evaluation System (TES) · Ability to analyze, interpret and compare varying degrees of course information via university catalogs and TES · Technology skills in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, database, electronic mail, and internet applications, preferably Microsoft Office Suite software

· Proven experience in similar position · Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills · Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication skills · Driven, self-motivated disposition · Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
