Job Description:

The University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatric emergency physician to join our Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The UF Pediatric Emergency Department sees over 24,000 patients per year and sponsors a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship. Our faculty provide critical bedside, didactic, and simulation training for pediatric and emergency medicine residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers. Individual faculty engage in federally funded research studies and hold leadership positions within the College of Medicine.

The successful candidate will be excited to join our Department’s growing Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Division in a non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The successful candidate will hold a University of Florida appointment and become part of our current group of 9 full time PEM faculty and 40 general EM faculty to support the expansion of clinical services in our community. Rank will be based on experience and education.

All physicians must be ABEM/ABOEM Board Certified/Board-Eligible pediatric emergency physician.
