Assistant Professor in Literary Theory (ENGL22-3)

The Department of English Studies at Durham University seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Literary Theory.

The successful candidate will have a research specialisation in one or more areas of literary theory and the ability to teach across a wide range of topics in literary theory. Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates with expertise in feminist theory, post- and anti-colonial theory, or ecocritical theory/environmental humanities, although applicants with expertise in other areas are also encouraged to apply. We particularly value the capacity to teach beyond your specialism, both in terms of theory and the wider curriculum.
