Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: To assist with the operation and maintenance of plant equipment and refrigeration systems. In addition, perform other related maintenance lead tasks in the refrigeration department.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain, repair and replace all campus HVAC systems, refrigeration units and plumbing items. Responsible for tracking BMS and BAS software including preventative maintenance programs and preparing Maintenance Reports. Attend maintenance meetings. Monitor program and train personnel for building energy management system for the campus and responsible for coverage for emergency calls for heating and cooling needs as they arise. Install electrical components and monitor automated outside lighting systems. Responsible for safe, cost effective and timely delivery of self-performed construction and renovation projects including the ability to estimate, schedule, and lead staff to complete tasks. Work with Subcontractors on campus projects pertaining to H.V.A.C. Assist in the planning and improvement projects on campus with Manager. BMS and BAS on-line work requests daily, including effective delegation, closing and follow-up of work performed, all carryover of work orders left open, scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance timely, ensuring all supplies are charged out to the proper job, and supplies are replenished. Proven lead skills while working in the field with assigned team. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3 years of related experience. Type IV Universal * Refrigeration Certification. Working computer knowledge with BAS and MMS software.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Ability to read blue prints. Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills. Working knowledge of a BAS software experience.(Auto-Logic preferred) Working knowledge Maintenance software experience.

Pay Rate: 29,630.00 - 35,560.00 annual salary depending on experience
