Responsibilities: Northern
State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track
faculty position in Counseling Education. The department offers
programs in two tracks: Clinical Mental Health and School
Counseling; both are CACREP accredited. Responsibilities will
include providing face-to-face instruction of graduate courses in
Clinical Mental Health and other areas of counseling, practicum and
internship supervision, student advising, scholarly activity, and
service within the department, school, university, and discipline.
Asynchronous and synchronous on-line/HyFlex coursework will be
incorporated into teaching responsibilities beginning with the
summer 2022 term.
Qualifications: Licensed or
license-eligible applicants with an earned doctorate in Counselor
Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program are
preferred; however, ABD’s who will complete their degree before the
date of appointment will be considered. Familiarity with CACREP
accreditation is a plus.
