Dordt University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to develop, grow, and lead the Agriculture Service Technology associate degree program in collaboration with the industry partners. Plan for excellent education of students in this internship-intensive Professional-Technical program. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience. A master's degree is required.
This individual will develop and implement vision for the Agriculture Service Technology (AST) program through collaboration with stakeholders, both internal and external. This individual will plan for and lead AST education, including 2-year curriculum, instruction and internships, and assessment; this individual will develop and teach agriculture equipment service courses related to the candidate's expertise.
In addition to teaching, this position will also include participation as a full team member in department and college administrative tasks (including curriculum development and review, assessment, development of new initiatives, student recruiting and advising, and committee assignments).
