Postdoctoral Fellow

Equity and Justice in the Clean Energy Transition

We are seeking a highly-motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research team at Indiana University (IU) – Bloomington. The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to multiple projects in the area of equity and justice in the U.S. clean energy transition, including examining patterns of energy insecurity among households in the United States. While this topic is the primary focus of the position, the postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to pursue novel research topics and will receive substantial support for professional development.

 

The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by Dr. Sanya Carley and Dr. David Konisky (IU O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs), with opportunities to collaborate with other faculty on the IU-Bloomington campus and from other institutions. The postdoctoral fellow will be based in Bloomington, Indiana and the position is expected to last for 12 months beginning in the Summer of 2022, with opportunities for an additional year of support contingent on funding.

 

Qualifications: The successful application will have earned a Ph.D. in public policy, public affairs, economics, political science, sociology, or a related field at the time of appointment, and will have experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data. Successful applicants will be self-motivated and have demonstrated experience working in collaborative and dynamic group settings.
