The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor level (without tenure due to funding, commensurate with qualifications) Electrophysiology – Complex Ablation as a clinician scholar or physician scientist. Clinical skills in complex ablation, lead extraction and/or adult congenital heart disease are of particular interest. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, scholarship and medical education.

 

University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. This position will have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. The anticipated start date will April 1, 2022.

 

Applicants must have an MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in electrophysiology (or foreign equivalent). Successful candidates must have an academic track record with evidence of publications. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
