The School aims to equip our students with critical and creative thinking, research skillsand high level proficiency in communication to enable them to realize their potential and to make lasting contributions to Singapore and beyond. Creative Writing in SoH offers an undergraduate minor, as well as postgraduate degrees (MA and PhD)in Creative Writing, as well as electives courses in Publishing. The School of Humanities seeks to fill 1 Senior Lecturer or Lecturer position in Creative Writing and Publishing. Requirements
Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: • Postgraduate Degree in Creative Writing, Publishing, or related fields • Teaching experience at undergraduate levels • An active creative writing publishing agenda Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Creative Writing and Publishing and related areas, supervise undergraduate theses, and contribute to the ongoing development of Creative Writing and Publishing as important academic disciplines in the school. An ability to teach broadly in the following areas will be an advantage: Creative Writing (general), Modern and Contemporary Poetry, Publishing, Editorial Strategies, and Publishing for the Creative Industries.
