Job Summary

The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Troy University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in microbiology. Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate level courses in microbiology, microbiology lab and closely related courses. The ability to teach introductory biology is desirable. The candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program in microbiology involving undergraduate and graduate students. Other job duties will include participating in all aspects of the daily operation of the Department and maintaining current knowledge in the profession. The primary teaching location for this position will be the Troy campus, but may also include teaching duties on the Montgomery or Dothan campus.

Minimum Qualifications

1. PhD in biological sciences or a closely related field
