Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Computer Science faculty position in the Department of Computer Science beginning August 2022.
Responsibilities Include
- Teaching expectations include teaching 4/5 courses per term (fall/spring) in computer science at the undergraduate level.
- Service in the Department, College, University or professional community is expected.
Other responsibilities may include the following:
- Program/course development expectations
- Working with a diverse community
An earned Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications Include
- Experience teaching in high performance big data analytics, biomedical informatics, data visualization and/or machine learning
- Prior teaching at the University level
- Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
