Work Shift:
Work Schedule/Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, schedule varies and may be scheduled between the hours of 6am-8pm.Occasional (or regular) evening or weekend shifts may be required.

Job Description:
This position exists to 1) Facilitate professional development learning activities through establishing new and supporting existing relationships with health care organizations, and developing and selling professional simulation and virtual reality (VR) based educational and training services to client organizations, and 2) In collaboration with the Academic Simulation Coordinator oversee the day-to-day operations of the Maverick Family Nursing Simulation Center to ensure authentic professional simulation learning events for regional client organizations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or related field.



  • Demonstrated experience with professional development learning activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of simulation education.

  • Familiarity with use and basic maintenance of simulation equipment.

  • Knowledge of basic business principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and strategize and to simultaneously execute several priority projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively to conceptualize and develop services, products and programs.

  • Demonstrate computer and technology skills using Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.



  • Masters degree in a healthcare or related field.

  • Credentialed Healthcare professional.

  • Healthcare Simulation Educator Certification.

  • Experience in grant writing.

  • Research and publications related to simulation education.

  • Established network of practice partners.

  • Familiarity with the market for customized health professional training and related programs.

  • Visionary approach to simulation education in clinical and academic settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.

  • Knowledge of state of Minnesota and MN State system rules and regulations regarding providing services to business and industry.

  • Interpersonal skills including sales, negotiations, leadership, and conflict resolution.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.


Other Requirements:
Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.

May need to drive to external customer locations.
