Open Until Filled
Maintain campus lawns. Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, hedges,
annual flower beds, and planters by pruning and trimming. Remove
litter, sand, dirt, and debris from assigned area. Operate and/or
utilize truck mounted plow, sidewalk plow, shovel, and/or ice
scraper, chemical melter, or sand to remove snow/ice. Inspect,
repair, install, and perform routine maintenance of playground
equipment/areas. Operate computerized irrigation controller and
repair irrigation system as needed.
Education & Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Education & Formal Training
1. Eighteen months’ grounds maintenance experience, to include six
months experience in the proper use of horticultural chemicals and
related application equipment.
2. Irrigation experience preferred.

Basic math and measuring skills to safely calculate and mix
horticultural/agricultural chemicals and fertilizers.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer application

Excessive standing and/or walking, Exposure to extreme
temperatures, Exposure to fumes and/or chemicals, Exposure to
heights, Exposure to loud noises, Lifting (weight) - 50 lbs.

Missouri Certified Pesticide Applicators license (category 3)
required within 6 months of hire.
