Job Description:

Working under the Director of Graduate and Transfer Admissions leadership, the Assistant/Associate Director is responsible for serving as the front line recruiter for transfer students to the college. The Assistant/Associate Director works in close collaboration with partner schools, universities, and all other relevant Community Colleges to attend recruitment events, organize advising meetings, and special events designed to promote York College and its academic programs. This position is also responsible for organizing all on campus Transfer specific events and assisting undergraduate admission events. The Assistant/Associate Director prepares unofficial credit evaluations for prospective students when requested and works collaboratively with Faculty, Registrar, and Academic Advising. Also, this position maintains the transfer student inquiries, applicants, and determines admission decisions utilizing the Slate CRM. In addition, this position works specifically with the admission process for York Colleges online RN to BSN program and all students with a military background.

The Assistant/Associate Director will work with the Director to implement the transfer strategic enrollment plan in order to successfully achieve targeted enrollment goals.


Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field, graduate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years direct admissions experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with enrollment technologies, CRMs, and the analysis of data
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
